The one reader who is actually good friends with the first year in question got it right. Robin (our housekeeper, whom i hear is getting promoted to some head position in the quad and thus will be leaving us) was cleaning in the bathroom, so since i was in my room and we already know i don’t spend enough time with Maria, she plopped herself onto my bed wearing her soft-though-not-revealing-terry-robe and after a bit demanded that i post, dictating word for word what the body of the post should be.

The fourth day of classes (with a weekend in the middle, no less) was far too early to be behind in one’s readings as well as sleep-deprived. So it goes, though. Things will have settled down in a couple of weeks, though. I will not allow this statement to be false. Expect a lengthy update from me, probably this weekend. (Mom, i posted a reply to your comment on my trans-issue post.)
