burning like matchsticks in the face of the darkness

Okay, so, following up on the phone post of a few days ago, my family's computer is still on the fritz. I stopped in to the library today to do some errands and am taking advantage of the net access. My aunt and her 7-year-old son are supposed to be coming next week Monday-Friday, so i don't anticipate much net access, even assuming my brother does get the computer fixed. I'm back at Smith January 4, though, and will then post about my vacation and catch up on LJ and e-mail (i've decided to just not attempt any of that at the moment). So you'll just have to survive without me until then.
